On 07.09.2023 Madhurima defended flawlessly her PhD thesis „The role of biological water in biomimetic cell membrane dynamics and molecular interactions”. She graduated with honors! We are so proud of you Madhu!

From 31.07 to 04.08 we took part in 14th EBSA Congress in Stockholm, Sweden. We would like to thank the Organizers for giving us the possibility to present our results... and eat dinner in Stockholm City Hall where traditionally the Nobel Prize banquet is traditionally held!

Hanna Orlikowska-Rzeznik and Emilia Krok were awarded with funding for 3-months internships from Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) under the STER programme, Towards Internationalization of PUT Doctoral School (2022-2024). Hanna will do her internship at AMOLF Institute in The Chemistry and Spectroscopy research center, Netherlands, while Emilia will stay in Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces, Potsdam, Germany.

OPUS grant for our team!
November 20, 2020
We applied for an OPUS grant and we got it! It will allow us to further work on the modulation transfer microscopy and its application to non-fluorescent imaging of biomimetic systems. Also, a brand new laser system will come to our lab - very exciting!

Lukasz receives Polish Intelligent Development Prize for 2020 in the category: "Scientist of the future". He will accept the prize at the ceremony during the Intelligent Development Forum that will take place in November 2020.

We made it to Science !

It took a while to make this happen, but YES, finally our work entitled "Ultrafast stimulated emission microscopy of single nanocrystals" made it to SCIENCE! Great collaborative effort with researchers from ICFO and ICREA (Spain), ICHF PAN (Poland), Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (Italy) and Ghent University (Belgium).
