Still being very active in these uncertain times! Madhurima and Emilia took part in the National Conference for Young Researchers and both received distinctions:

OPUS grant for our team!

We applied for an OPUS grant and we got it! It will allow us to further work on the modulation transfer microscopy and its application to non-fluorescent imaging of biomimetic systems. Also, a brand new laser system will come to our lab - very exciting!

Scientist of the future Prize for Lukasz!

Lukasz receives Polish Intelligent Development Prize for 2020 in the category: "Scientist of the future". He will accept the prize at the ceremony during the Intelligent Development Forum that will take place in November 2020.
Paper by Lukasz receives an award!
A manuscript co-authored by Lukasz received 1st award for the best publication from the Institute of Physical Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences published in 2018. Hopefully coming papers receive similar attention!

Emilia, Madhurima and Hanna receive a grant for young scientists financed by our University! They will investigate the effect of hydration level on the formation of the supported lipid bilayers with the use of quartz crystal microbalance.

Together with Hania, we took part in the official gala, where Diamond Grants were granted by the Minister of Science and Higher Education - Jarosław Gowin. Interesting event where we could meet other grantees, and where Hania could officially enjoy her success! Congratulations again! Now the hard work begins...

We made it to Science !

It took a while to make this happen, but YES, finally our work entitled "Ultrafast stimulated emission microscopy of single nanocrystals" made it to SCIENCE! Great collaborative effort with researchers from ICFO and ICREA (Spain), ICHF PAN (Poland), Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (Italy) and Ghent University (Belgium).
A true crown jewel amongst our publications!
